Fox Removal

In instances where a single fox is found trapped within a building or residence, our procedure involves the careful deployment of a catch pole or net to safely secure the animal before transferring it into a cage for removal. For foxes observed in outdoor environments, we implement deterrent strategies and exclusion methods, including the establishment of barriers and habitat modifications, to encourage their relocation. In cases requiring trapping, we primarily utilize foothold traps, subsequently transferring the captured foxes to cage traps for removal from the property. If applicable, relocation efforts will be conducted in accordance with local regulations. It is important to note that within enhanced rabies surveillance zones, all rabies vector species will be humanely dispatched on-site in compliance with legal requirements.
